CHECKING BRAKE FLUID TESTER

The brake fluid is “hygroscopic”, it means it tends to absorb moisture. With a percentage of around 3.5 % water, the fluid must be replaced to avoid the effect that “Vapor lock” ( production of gas bubbles because of the operating temperature), generate an elongation of the brake lever doing so losing of the braking system efficiency.

To learn the status of the brake fluid, you need to use a special tester which , through light leds of different color indicates clearly this level and clearly report if the fluid is in optimal state, in alarm or if its replacement is necessary .
